It was quite sometime I have not blogged. I started blogging way back in 2004 and now I can see any guy round the corner can blog including big icons like Amitabh (Big B), Aamir Khan.

I went to my kid's admission at D A V Thane. While purchasing books I came out with following maths ( I get wild ideas in serene places like waiting lobby of Principal).

We must be reading lot of energy conservation an new paradigms like green power, save Energy as well... Recycle.

Recycle Mobile, PC hardware are promoted as camapign by lot of Green Groups.

I came out with another good which is large scale then just mobile or PC which are large then basic things which we use... i.e. YES BOOKS.

BOOKS are made of PAPERS.Paper comes from Tree Pulp mainly ( Now u get Cow Dung, Elephant Dung papers also for your info.)

so increase in usage of Books directly impacts Tree beds cutting down across the globe.Iniatives like E Bill against Paper bill and discount offer by Telecom, Banks is very famous but, I think we missed bigger part i.e. Books.

Example - In a single school with 2000 students on ava consuming 10 textbooks will surely buy 20,000 books every year new.
In Single Mumbai itself there will be around 2000 schools will be present so, in Mumbai itself we consume 400 million books.
Each book with ava. 50 A4 page will go for 2 billion A4 pages....
Can we think of recycling of this 2 billion pages.... ??
